🔑 Update Your API Key

Before uploading the firewall, open the file genus-firewall.php and update your API key.

Find the following lines:

$GENUS_API=”{{GENUS_API_KEY}}”; $GENUS_DOMAIN=”{{GENUS_DOMAIN}}”;

Replace them with your actual details.

Example:
$GENUS_API=”YOUR_API_KEY_HERE”; $GENUS_DOMAIN=”example.com”;

Method 1 — Upload as Plugin

The firewall can also protect custom PHP websites.

Step 1 — Upload File

Upload the file to your website root directory:

or

Step 2 — Include Firewall

Open your main file such as index.php and add this line at the top:
